What To Do After Graduation to Prepare for Private Practice

Congratulations graduate!!!

It feels like yesterday that I was donning my NYU purple cap and gown. There were so many things I had accomplished and so many things to look forward to.

I know it’s that time of year again and if it’s your year I wanted to wish you a huge congratulations.

Going to school at NYU Silver school of social work,  at the time it was called Ehrenkhranz, was an incredible part of my life.

Being in New York City,  the melting pot of melting pots,  looking out of the window from my classroom into George Washington Square Park, going to the student center and that enormous library, stopping by Starbucks in the corner, and then the little store across the street later for my mid-day coffee and all the energy in that city is something that’s indescribable.

If you’ve experienced it for yourself, I’m sure you know what I mean. In honor of the season of accomplishments and graduations I put together a free resource for all of this year’s graduates.

Always remember …

  • The sky’s the limit.
  • Never give up on your dreams.
  • Always follow your gut.
  • Be mindful who you surround yourself with (they may not share your vision of the future).
  • Don’t ever let anyone stand in your way and make sure not to stand in your own.

To the beginning of this amazing chapter of your new life. Cheers my friend!
